History

Macquarie Engineers was formed in 1997 by members of the Newcastle Steelworks electrical engineering department following the announcement of the closure of the steelworks. From a company originally focusing on heavy industrial automation control, Macquarie Engineers has broadened its capability servicing major clients in the coal, water & process industries in the Hunter Region.
